The “If You Give a Child a Book” campaign provides free book fairs for children most at risk of becoming illiterate in the communities of local Scripps stations. The campaign is supported by donations from station employees, audiences, members of the Scripps family, corporate sponsors and community foundations. Scripps brings Scholastic Book Fairs to Title I schools so students can select their own books to take home.
