WMTV Makes Commitment to Feed the Hungry

For the past 25 years, the team at WMTV has partnered with Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin to help the community battle food insecurity. Prior to the pandemic, one in eight children in the areas were facing hunger and given the rising tension of COVID-19, WMTV stepped in to amplify their efforts further. During a 10-month long campaign, the local station helped raise $5,587,648 to help feed the hungry in our community. By running two food drives and station promotional resources, WMTV proved the power of local television and redefined feeding the community.
