Remarkable Women

The Nexstar Media Group “Remarkable Women” initiative celebrates and honors the outstanding contributions that women have made throughout the country and within their communities. Viewers were asked to nominate a woman that made a difference in their community and over a period of three months, 114 Nexstar television markets produced stories highlighting exceptional female leaders. With over 10,000 nominations, this campaign included extensive news coverage, social media campaigns, local news websites and on-air promotions to generate awareness and celebrate the remarkable women across the country. The winners were recognized during the Mel Robbins Show in New York City in March 2020 to celebrate Women's History Month.
