KMGH Takes on Public Safety

While the globe was dealing with an unprecedented pandemic, KMGH’s enver7 Investigative team learned of serious dangers unfolding inside a slaughterhouse in northern Colorado. A meat processing plant that employed more than 4,000 people, quickly became one of the state's most prominent hot spots for the COVID-19 virus. As KMGH brought this story to light and gave a voice to the voiceless, the plant was forced to shut down and reevaluate their operations to ensure the community's public safety. Thanks to the work of KMGH, the community was informed of this pressing issue and able to curb the spread of COVID-19.
