2020 was a year of compounding crises, and the team at Hearst Television decided to take systemic racism head-on. Across 33 local television stations serving 39 states, the Hearst Television team ran 33 specials and 13 town hall meetings to provide 428 unique stories under one united effort. From extended reporting, featured interviews, and hosting conversations, this television group focused on engaging and interacting with audiences on issues surrounding racism, diversity, equity and inclusion.
