2020 was different. Throughout the year, we witnessed the intersections of compounded crises that challenged our ways of thinking. While we encountered a public health crisis, an economic crisis and ongoing systemic racial injustice and inequity, you continued to keep your communities safe, informed and heard. Because of that, I am hopeful, inspired and pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Celebration of Service to America Awards call for entries.
The work of a local broadcaster is never finished, and we are proud to honor your ongoing commitment to keeping the best interests of your community at the heart in everything you do. 2020 was a year of challenging and tumultuous times, but it was also a year when many stepped up to help those in need. We want to hear those stories.
From all of us at the NAB Leadership Foundation, we are excited to promote your stories and showcase the importance of broadcasting not only during a time of need, but every day.
President, NAB Leadership Foundation
